In order to give our students a better opportunity to get to know each other, the first two weeks of the semester are held at Elim, which is a church property outside of Sacramento.

This retreat allows classmates to quickly become family! The girls stay in an upstairs home while the guys live in cabins.

Here, students start by learning the basics of discipline. After class activities include game nights, worship nights, and prayers. This time helps build friendships and sets a good foundation for the rest of the semester!
